OVERVIEW
I am the Director of Entertainment & Stage Manager of HORRORCON LOS ANGELES, a yearly horror convention held at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
DUTIES
Our main stage is the true heart of the convention as it features iconic celebrity panels & amazing stage acts !
My mission (and passion) is to prep way ahead of the event to ensure a smooth run-of-the-show. By that I mean researching & vetting the stage acts, as well as communicate with our Celebrity panelists and obtaining everything they need for their stage presentations. [ movie clips, logos, trailers, scripts for our MC Hosts, etc ]
STAGE TALENT
I am the creator and yearly Talent Scout of the official HCLA dance crew, "The HorrorConLA Sinister Souls Dancers" as well as other stage acts.
I searched out potential Choreographers, chose the stage name, selected the music, and oversaw the dance rehearsals to ensure a quality performance.
In 2024, I recruited FX Make UP Artist Ana Miró for an FX Stage Demo to begin the stage festivities.
STAGE AUDIO VISUALS
I researched and vetted various audio visual companies before deciding on our official candidate. I maintain close communication with the AV crew from pre-production to our event day stage activities. Ensuring that our carefully timed schedule are followed as planned on the Run-Of-The-Show-Guide to avoid going into overtime. It's a nail biter, but we always get it done right on schedule !

STAGE SCHEDULE
I plan and prepare the daily "Run-Of-The-Show" stage schedule. Stage acts are scheduled in between all the films Panels from 12pm to 6pm. Example: Dancers-Panel-Magician-Panel-Dancers-Panel-Musical Performance finale.
STAFF
I interview & select event Volunteers, as well as the entrance DJ's.
FUN ACTIVITIES [ see photo gallery page ]
I introduced 360 Photo Booth companies to the event who are seeking to increase their business profile,
I brought the famed "School Of Rock" and their students to rock & jamm with rock star celebs signing at the convention.
I "unleashed" on our guests....the mighty creature group "KRAMPUS Los ANGELES"
